auch der IE macht das nicht. auch auf die gefahr hin, dass ich mist quatsche: ich halte es für ziemlich inkorrekt, dem element <table> ein padding zu geben. es ordnet ja im prinzip nur, ebenso wie <tr>, hat aber eigentlich keinen inhalt im sinne eines containerelements wie div oder td. weißtu, wie ich meine?
mit den alten cellpadding und cellspacing hastu ja auch nur die padding und spacing der cells, sprich der tds angegeben...
übrigens:
is auch nich die feine art
