Titel Problem bei CSS Formatierung |

Moin moin,
hab gerade ein Problem mit einer Erstellung einer Navigationsleiste. Hatte vor alles per CSS zu gestalten doch irgendwie haut dieses nicht hin. Hab unten ein Bild angehangen auf dem man links sieht wie es derzeit aussieht und rechts wie es einmal aussehen soll.

Erst ma danke für die Antwort,.. habs jetzt vom Stil her so wie ich es wollte haber aber leider das bekannte IE und FF Problem
Im FireFox:
Im Internet Explorer:
Falls man es erkennen kann habe ich zwischen der Navi und dem Content noch eine braune Linie von 1px. Habe absolut keine Ahnung wie ich den wegbekomme.
